Violin lessons

Violin lessons for children and students who aspire professional career in performing. Preparation for festivals, competitions, and auditions (RAM, RCM, The Purcell School or Yehudi Menuhin School etc.).

If your child is committed to very hard work and is keen ton studying in the best worldwide known music schools and academies one day, then you have found the best violin teacher to prepare you for that.

My name is Aiste and I'm a professional violinist with more than thirty years of international performing and teaching experience.

Currently, I work at The Purcell School as a Music Specialist Teacher of Violin.

Also, I give private lessons and masterclasses in Hampton, London, UK.

As for my qualifications, I have three Master of Music degrees (MMus):
  • Violin Solo (performing),
  • Chamber Orchestra (performing),
  • Violin Teaching.

Throughout my career, I have specialised in teaching children and students. That requires a lot of patience and perseverance from everyone: the child, the teacher, and the parents. My work is result orientated and the sense of achievement is the key motivator for my students.

It all starts from developing good basics techniques, posture, hold which any aspiring student will need in the future should they consider a career as a professional performing musician. Some of my students started from as early as 4 years and have already won prizes in the international music competitions.

However, I specialise in working with children who have talent for music and clear goals such as:

  • perfecting violin performance techniques,
  • broadening repertoire,
  • intensive preparation for international and local competitions, festivals and other public performances,
  • preparation for auditions (RAM, RCM, the Purcell school, the Menuhin School, scholarships etc.),
  • ABRSM grades (in parallel to the above objectives).
Whilst working with undergraduate and postgraduate students my approach is usually focussed on:
  • musicality and virtuosity,
  • choice of repertoire,
  • public masterclasses,
  • chamber music.
